Fun with Moss

I love moss, especially in the spring. Stacy over at Not just a housewife had the cutest idea I just had to copy. We have had a rock collection hanging out on our back patio all winter so I had lots of choices, and I have leftover log slices from my winter centerpiece. This is such an easy DIY, it seriously only took 20 minutes, maybe.

I started with a few leftover pieces of moss that I got from Joanns a few years ago.

I am not good at freehand so I used a heart punch for my template to make my heart. I just traced it on the back of the moss.

Then I hot glued the heart on the rock. We will see how long the moss keeps the nice green color, such a bummer when it fades.

I love how simple the little heart looks.

I drew the letters on the back of the moss as well and then cut them out. Glue them down with hot glue and your done. Seriously, so easy.

Do you love moss? Have you done any projects using it lately?

Kids are back in school this week, which they are not happy about. I enjoyed being lazy last week but the routine is also nice. Have a great Monday!
