Anyhoo, with my parents in town and my sister and her family joining us for dinner it was a fun time to plan a post fourth BBQ. I saw Courtney over at A Thoughtful Place (love her blog) had put together the nicest 4th of July tablescape with lemons and a flag, both of which I already had on hand. But I needed a little something more so I pulled out some candle holders from Walmart ($0.96 ea) and some rope I had left over (also from Walmart) and went to town.
I glued the rope on with a glue gun and it really only took a few minutes.
I love the result! It is perfect for summer.
I love easy free projects, doesn't get any better than that.
