Big News!
I am now on Instagram! I know I know a little late. Better late than never, so if you want to follow along on Instagram I would love to have you.
Well, I have been admiring all the Washi Tape projects I have seen all over the blogshere. I learned that washi tape is Japanese craft tape. It is kind of like masking tape, only it is pretty. Well I got some for Christmas and I LOVE it! I NEED MORE! I can see how it can be addicting, you always need another color or design. I am not finding great choices in the store though so I will need to venture onto the internet for my next batch. I can't believe all the fun projects out there. I had fun with a few on my own.
First I added some color to my phone charger. Now it won't get mixed up with our occasional overnight guests.
The kids and I decided to make our own thank you cards for Christmas presents.
I had all the card stock on hand so the kids picked out the colors. I love how the girls wrote the "Thank You". It is so personal, I should have kept some for myself. My 4 year old worked so hard on hers. My son was not into our craft project so I wrote his.
We also embellished our envelopes. I just could NOT stop.
I needed a pen holder for my desk so this was a perfect way to dress up a soup can.
Here are a few other projects I found around.
The Handmade Home did a great post on washi tape ideas.
I love this idea for adding a little color gift tags from Purplelue.
This is a great idea for entertaining, especially with a stemless wine glass. Source is unknown.
Here is another great idea for labeling wine glasses from Freckles Chick.
And last but not least these regular plastic cups look amazing with just a little washi tape, seen over at Natural Life.
Have you played around with Washi Tape? Do you have a favorite place you get it from? I need some more!

I love Washi tape and continue to get new ideas all the time for using it, like right here from you! The most impressive of your features puts the tape as just an extra -- your kiddies' handwritten thank you's take center stage!
